I truly believe this will be one of the best Super Bowl’s ever played. Both teams are so evenly matched which should make for a very interesting game. There are a couple match ups that I will be specifically which could swing the game in favor of one team or the other.

1. Michael Bennett, Cliff Avril and Bruce Irvin vs Patriots OL-This might be the most important matchup of the entire game. Tom Brady is an all-time great but he doesn’t have the athletic ability to escape the pocket. If the Seahawks can get pressure on him they will have a good chance to win the game. The only problem is the Hawks DL barely got any pressure on a one-legged Aaron Rodgers and that lack of a pass rush almost doomed Seattle.

2. Rob Gronkowski vs Seahawks LB/DB-Earlier in the season Seattle had trouble covering opposing Tight End’s. Week 2 against the San Diego Chargers Antonio Gates had 7 receptions, 96 yards and 3 TD’s. I think the Seahawks will start out with a LB covering Gronk but if that doesn’t work they will switch DB onto him. I’m most worried about Gronk blowing by one of the LB’s on a seam route for a big gain.

3. Marshawn Lynch vs Vince Wilfork-The Seahawks are a run first team and they will look to hand the ball off early and often. I have a gut feeling Lynch will have a big game. After being in a media firestorm all week regarding his lack of answers during his mandatory press conferences I believe he will come out fired up and running angry. The Patriots have a very good rushing defense but the key player is Vince Wilfork. He is the man who can single-handedly turn the tide for the Pats DL. They will need him to clog up the middle if they have any chance of stopping Lynch.

In the end, I believe the Seahawks will prevail over the Patriots 24-23. It will be one of the most hard fought Super Bowl’s in history. After Russell Wilson led the Hawks to an improbable victory in the NFC Championship I have an unwavering belief in him and this team. They are the team of destiny.
